Spacecom’s Amos 6 satellite was meant to offer internet access to several African countries, and was completely destroyed on September 1, 2016 after the launch rocket on which it had been mounted exploded two days before its expected launch. A successful launch of the biggest, most advanced satellite built by Israel Aerospace Industries was a requirement for completing the sale of the Israeli company to a foreign media group. During those years, our firm advised Spacecom, the owner of the satellite.
