Food Labeling Regulations entered into effect in Israel on January 1, 2020, requiring manufacturers to label food products high in saturated fat, sodium, and sugar. Our client, one of the world’s largest snack corporation which operates in Israel with its brands Oreo and Milka, was required to prepare for this reform and the new consumer environment which it created. Within the scope of our consulting services, we formulated for our client a strategic plan which included, among other things, a situation analysis across four fronts – regulation, industry, media, and consumers – as well as a strategy and working plan for leveraging our client’s strengths and opportunities, as well as those of its specific brands.
